apparrently, that Adam and Steve thing originated when a bunch of strange gay people tried to write their own version of the bible, in which god did indeed make Adam and Steve. or so i'm told...
most of my mother's friends are lesbians, and most of them are quite nice people. apart from my mother's friends, i only personally know 4 [maybe 6] openly gay or bisexual people.
