Am I the only person here who thinks that Dr. Who is a massive shit fest? A poorly written, worsely acted shit fest?

I think there's a factor in that the episodes are incredibly inconsistent. It shouldn't happen in a tv show that only makes 13 or 14 episodes a year, but the scripts vary incredibly between the utterly sublime to the incredibly stupid. Admittedly, whilst most DW fans agree on that statement, they don't always agree on which episodes are the good ones and which are the bad ones.
