Universities, especially social science departments, run by far more stringent policies than you may think. Look up a man called Stanley Milgram, one of the greatest psychology experiments ever and it would not be allowed to run these days simply because American and European governments do not like that stuff.
And Havoc, I think you're narrowing the options just a little too far, just because someone hasn't got a history of child abuse does not mean they mightn't have a more than neutral ground for for seeing the stuff. In the wrong hands social science is a fucking dangerous weapon.
