I met this guy at a speed dating evening and thought he was sortof cute and a good conversationalist. We met up again and that 'sortof' was downgraded to 'not really' (I dunno, maybe he had a new haircut, maybe I was less drunk) and we spent much of the evening talking about the holocaust; "So how did your grandparents survive?", "Why did they go to Australia?", etc. Then he kept on telling me how great his apartment was (and how comfortable his double bed was) and how I should come take a look. I said no, thanks.

I decided to give him a chance on a second date. He kept on asking me what I was looking at over his shoulder and I replied that I was a bit tired and the waiters moving around were a bit distracting. The truth was, however, that I was staring at a rather attractive young gent on the other side of the cafe and kept on thinking about how much I wished I was with him instead of the guy I was with. Then he followed me home and made himself comfortable in my apartment until I made up some excuse about why I didn't want to have sex with him and he left in a huff.
