If anything, you could say that all the species on Oddworld are vertebrates (well, except for Octigi).

That’s like looking at a small proportion of Earth’s faunal species and concluding that all creatures are vertebrates. Certainly all the larger Oddworld creatures seem to be supported by bones, but that’s generally a necessity for being large in the first place. There’s no evidence that Slurg‐ or bee‐scale critters are quite so boney.
