"Awww!" Maggie purred, hugging Phats tightly as the slog started to fall asleep. "He's just the cutest lil' thing I ever saw!" Maggie grabbed Corky's arm rather roughly and forced him to sit down. She grinned at him. "What's the rush? I'm not rushin'! I mean, I got places to be, but you don't see me scramblin' around trying to finish things! You don't," she rubbed Phat's head, "want to wake this little guy up, do ya? Look at him! He's exhausted! Isn't that right, cutie pie?"
She nuzzled Phat's snout and continued talking baby-talk to the fat slog.

Conway stiffened when the snoozer smashed the can flat, then flung it into a crashcan. He scowled, moved as though he were going to get out of his seat, decided against it, then lay back down again and grumbled something under his breath.

Skelter was wandering aimlessly now, her headphones blaring some sort of metal-screamo trash. Stupid vykkers! She wasn't here to do all their odd-jobs; she was practically the essence of a disgruntled employee, if that wasn't obvious enough!
Bitterly she kicked a ratz that had hopped unfortunately within range of her leg, then kept moving onwards, heading towards the train station.
