P.S. Just to say, "light effects" are anything but realistic. Drawing from life really helps you understand how light and shape work together. If you get a sketchbook and just start drawing random things you see (in real life) when you're bored, your understanding of objects will increase tenfold.  |
...so you say that water doesn't reflect the light of the sun and that hair is also not shimmering when light shines on it? There are differences between uhm... materials... some reflect the light and some others don't -with light effects I was meaning nothing else than to not only use black to draw the shadows but also use something to light up some places that reflect the light
