Yes, we could do without the grim result of that administration... but the buzz I feel in the air is beyond explanation. I'm genuinely filled with joy I've never felt. I think with people getting back involved with their government, especially young people.... getting involved because they
care after so many years of apathy that's gotten the 'cronies' of the past into office, we can really get things straightened out here, which we need
so badly.
Keeping promises depends on us as US citizens. The president represents us as citizens, not his own interests, and this is what's been lacking for the past half century... our own apathy and naivety of expecting our president to 'take care of things' has gotten
way out of control, and it's our own fault. This is just what we need.
