Haha, this is so ridiclious that I'm going to join for just the effort.
Seriously, the only point I can see in you creating this is either a/ you're a control freak, or b/ you want to be a mod, and therefore, are a control freak.
Everything doesn't have to be started by you, you're not missing out on anything, and since this is the official forums, it will be far more popular and known than your forums, which actually isn't saying much.
Just become part of this community rather than sitting in a corner and trying to start your own, you're only diminishing what we have of this forum, which I think is rather selfish.

That being said, I like the background.
