Yeah I remember that screen, yeah there is no ring to access the secret area when you return to 'Rupture Farms', although it's the same screens when you return it is technically a completely different level/section of the game if you get me. The past is past lol, did you miss it first time through?

As for the Boardroom pull ring I can't explain that it should be there, try cleaning your game cd and (with caution) your lense to your playstation lazer. It's all very old and dusty the system will skip and miss bits.
