Koala hands are unique and adapted to climb trees, so unless most burglars have claws on each finger and two thumbs of each hand, no self-respecting crime-scene investigator is going to get the two confused. On top of that, koalas are significantly smaller than humans, so you're betting on the police coming to the conclusion that people are being robbed by long-clawed, two thumbed babies.
