Well what can I say that hasn't been said? AO has a more emotional feel, while AE has more gameplay. Examples: The Stockyards and Scrabania, Quicksave and the All'a Ya.
I have a very soft spot for AO though. If you knew my life's story (A long story that I don't have to tell.) you'd know why. That's why I prefer AO.
