You could maybe say the ammo was replaced with something harmless but sore/a tranquilizer since a lot of workers got shot, so no one dies. Or you could just flat-out ignore the people forcing cheeseholes in you, I'm not too sure how the game mechanics work but I've roleplayed before
. Tweaking the game mechanics/booting out people that go about godmod-killing people could work also, maybe the 15 second delay can be because their weapons are as cheap as chips
