You know, one time back when I worked for Ford, I cracked a joke to someone about Eugenics. I learnt then that in that environment you have to be careful about what comments you make; not that the guy was insulted by the concept of Eugenics, just that the average mechanic has absolutely no idea what Eugenics is and will look at me like I'm some elitist schmuck for using words he can't understand.
