Tidus, your models are good but I believe all points made by Cyph3r are good ones, and as for J_dude320; I advise researching the situation before you open your mouth, it just makes you look idiotic.

One thing. I make the model from a good reference image, it's exactly like that, so if it looks bobbly then it's a GT Interactive error. I'm not saying my model is the best but god, Cyph3r looks angry with me.

From this:

:
Well ill say it in a 'nicer' way. It's a good BASE mesh. Now you need to add in the forms. that is, drop the subdiv level and add muscle definition and signs of a skeletal structure. Right now it just looks like a block of clay. Add some harder edges were necessary (such as around the hip bone) And the muscle flow, check out concept images of the scrab. Then add smaller details such as wrinkles around the joints to suggest loose skin and also other bulges and SCARS, scrabs fights, they're bound to have a few battle wounds. Also the mouth needs definition, and definate jaw, teeth, and the innards of the mouth/throat. Keep the subdiv low while blocking in the muscles ect then move up to higher levels when you do the smaller details.

To this:

:
its too 'blobby' lacks ALOT of details, alot of areas arent sharp enough, and the detail that is there in non-sensical as if you got the brush and randomly drew on places not considering the anatomy or anything.
Come on, doesn't look like angry? Capital letters, despective talk..

More things...

If this is no sense of anatomy and
:
non-sensical as if you got the brush and randomly drew on places
then you need glasses, or something like that.

And..

When I said this work is finished? Read it two times after writing...

See, im used to being on proper 3D forums. People are harsh. It works. As SOON as you start thinking you're good, you'll stop developing your skills. So on those forums everyone doesnt just shout "MY GOD THATS AWESOME", that doesnt do anything apart from giving you a false sense of skill. But rather, they just say straight, whats wrong with it, thus telling you having you can improve the model, and thus your skills. Its alot better for you.
All the critics/messages don't matter for me. If some people say "worst model ever" and some "awesome" I'll keep making models better, it doesn't matter.

:
Am I the only person that can see that Cyph3r is giving harsh but fair constructive criticism and having it shoved back in his face?
If you call this constructive:

:
its too 'blobby' lacks ALOT of details, alot of areas arent sharp enough, and the detail that is there in non-sensical as if you got the brush and randomly drew on places not considering the anatomy or anything.
:
lacks alot of details (well ALL details) as you know, i take it this is a high poly sculpt? seems abit lazy and topology is abit messed in some areas
:
looks too 'bubbly' due to the massive lack of details. also seems a waste for this to be a high poly piece as theres no detail on it.
....

Okay..

:
As I said before, I think this looks really good. I can't wait to see it animated! (If you are going to animate it.)
Yes, I'm going to animate it. At least rigging it.

:
Are you going to make any more Oddworld creatures?
Don't know, maybe.

Sorry for this pretty long reply.
