Havoc, I might have to beg to differ on the "Love At First Sight" theory you give because I
have known people to have fallen in love at first sight and I have felt it before at least once
myself. It is when you get that wild chill up your spine like you have known that person (or
animal) all your life but really just met... it is when your heart pounds and you get all light
headed and find it hard to breathe. It can and does happen.

Those are the exact same feelings you'd get when being turned on amongst other things. There is no physical way to 'love' something by only looking at it. If you get feelings based on appearance then what you're feeling is lust, not love.
I'll believe you can love an animal if you spend time around that animal for a while and it just gets really cute, like licking your face, rubbing against you, that sort of stuff. But like I said before, love at first sight does not exist. Lust at first sight does.
