The place BM is talking about can only be found in the AO demo and you have to use the ddcheat to get there. It's right next the two zap doors at the bottom of the RuptureFarms level when you go all the way to the right. There you can find an alternative screen.
That's what my memory is telling me, but on the other hand I can't find any evidence of that screen in my ripped backgrounds.
