Ok guys, here's my first true bit of original Oddworld artwork. It took me forever, but it was worth the effort.
This image is the result of some daydreaming I did of Oddworld history.The creature the steef is fighting is an early wolvark, whom were once (according to me) powerful creatures that lived in the northernmost region of the Mongo River. They lived in harmony with their environment as long as they stayed in their region of the river, but once the industrial species discovered the wolvarks' love of Grubb flesh, they moved them to the area of the Mongo River we know and love. Here, the wolvarks acted as invasive species, and almost wiped the grubbs out. The steefs managed to defeat the wolvarks and beat them back, and the ones that were left were taken to various labs and put through intense programs of "positive eugenics" until they evolved into the evil henchmen we know them as today. It's something like what humans have done to pigs, dog, and many other animals.
