Where do 'furries' come into play? Those people who seem to only like anthro-animal stuff. Many of them find sex with humans disgusting and wish they were animals. I don't know I just think it's weird. Though that is how we find most things we don't understand isn't it? As 'weird'. I personally don't believe anything is normal or weird. Just what society deems as normal or weird.

If you'd have to rank it up it would probably go a little something like:
Normal person > Furry > Zoophile
Let me first say that there are a LOT of messed up individuals in both communities, but Furries outrank the Zoophiles in that department by a long shot. I've been part of both communities for what, five years? And in that time I've seen a lot of disturbing stuff, even for my standards, in the furry community.
That said, the furry fandom is first and foremost a place for people who like the art and idea of anthropomorphic characters. AKA, human animal hybrids. This is not by default of adult nature. The adult side is a subculture which a lot of normal furries don't want anything to do with and often take offense that it carries the same name. The largest chunk of both these cultures are just people who either like the genre or people who like the porn. However within the adult culture there are alot of people who are taking it to the extreme. Take the mild versions such as believing that you were an animal in a past life (which, I have to admit, I like to think from time to time) to the more extreme versions where people dress up in a fursuit or actually believe that they are an animal stuck in a man's body. I've even heard stories of furries claiming they are a dragon in every way, shape or form but that the rest of us 'can not see him for his real form'. Obviously these people have a wire malfunction somewhere in their mind and all we really do is laugh at people like this.
But despite all that, the golden rule everyone in the fandom seems to know and accept is never to judge anyone as long as that person isn't hurting anyone.

I also don't know exactly what I'd call myself. Perhaps a zoophile with bestiality tendencies? I love my cat Oni, he's a part of the family in my eyes. There is my dilemma. He is part of the family I could never do sexual stuff with him. Having sex with family members is just odd in my eyes. Then again I guess I don't understand it? I don't find Oni attractive in any way cus he's a cat... I love him though I'd take a bullet for him. I've never found an animal sexually attractive, but I've watched some bestiality porn which I found to be arousing. I guess it's just the act of sex that turns me on. *shrugs* I could never imagine myself trying to have a romantic relation with an animal, but I could see a physical one. How do you know if a animal loves you? Like 'um do you go on dates with an animal? Yeah I know what I'm saying is ignorant and that is probably because I don't understand how that works. I'm not closed minded though which is why I'm asking these questions. Is it right to have sex with an animal with no romantic feelings attached? I mean if the animal consents.

The border between love for your animal because you love him as your pet, and loving him because you LOVE him is a very thin one and that question is not as unique as it may sound. On some zoo communities that question gets asked a lot by confused teenagers and stuff. But generally the answer is still no, you're not a zoophile for loving your animal as a pet. And you don't automatically have to be sexually attracted to animals just because you get turned on by animal sex. I'm sure a fair share of young people saw a clip like that at some point in their life and I'm fairly sure most of us found it arousing. But you're not going to tell your friends that. I mean, he just found it randomly somewhere on the internet and wanted to share it with you purely for fun, right? Exactly.
As for a romantic relationship with an animal, I think that's overrated. Just like with a human partner there has to be something there in order for it to work. For instance I have a cat and a dog but I'm not in love with either of them. Main reason? Cats and Dogs don't do it for me. Nor am I in love with a random tiger at the zoo, simply because I have no form of personal relationship with them. Should I ever own my own tiger, or raise my own tiger, I'd say there's a good possibility that a love relation from my side could develop over time. But stuff like that never just happens in a matter of days.
Anyone saying they met an animal and were in love at first sight are kidding themselves and are trying to find excuses (knowingly or not) for the actual sexual lust they feel.
You don't see a hot supermodel walking down the street and go "I'm in love!!!" do you? No, you go "DAMN, that's hot". It's no different with animals.
And sure, why not have a sexual relation with an animal? No love has to be there if you don't want it to be. The animal won't give a damn since only few animals actually know what love is (And to redirect back to your previous question, having a love relation with an animal is never the same as with a human. The animal will love you, like your cat loves you, because you give it attention and food and stuff like that. But it will never be 'in love' with you.). Most animals such as dogs, horses and cats will not at all mind a sexual relation with someone they trust. If a dog knows someone in his surroundings is willing to please him/her sexually, expect that dog to be standing next to your bed with a wagging tail and a lot of lust in his/her eyes every once in a while. Sometimes stallions who are sexually active with their handler are known to get erections when they see him/her. That just goes to show that the human isn't always the one making the first move.
