This is great news as far as I am concerned... whether the Xbox be able to play games from different countries or if I can get a chip for it.
Usually I just like to rent games if I am unsure if they are a game I will like... so before buying I try it out.
The rental program you mention though is awesome... because usually when you rent games you only can do so for a week or two (if you rent for much more you may as well buy the game), it's certainly a good idea.
