Seeing the slig with the slog (Corky and Phats), Ralph slowed down slightly, watching as the mudokon (Ark) ran past and the two chased after him. He slowed down even more, going back to a walk, but listening intently to the footsteps up ahead.

He walked casually up to the doorway of the warehouse, as the two who had been blinded before (Cylepso and Dionysia) recovered and came running past him into the warehouse. He stopped in the doorway and heard the black mudokon giving orders to everyone.

This is going to be interesting, he thought. He stepped away and watched from a short distance - it didn't look like he was needed at the moment.

"Oh, it's nothing. Spilt some paint on myself and I just sort of doodled in it. Guess I should wash it off." Anni grinned up at the other mudokon.

Hembar smiled slightly, She's not a very good liar, she thought to herself.
"Sure," she said, "maybe you should wash it off now?" she looked around, looking for somewhere that Anni could wash her hands,
"I mean, it does look pretty conspicuous so it's probably best to get rid of it as soon as possible. Even if it is a doodle, it looks a lot like the sort of spiritual tattoos some mudokons get, and there's some people that get pretty paranoid about that sort of thing so you don't want them seeing it!"
