Probably should have mentioned it sooner but since she got shot yesterday she probably has a bandage round her chest and another on her arm.  You can forget it if you want; I'm a bit late mentioning it really. |
If I remember correctly Hembar
did actually notice it when she first spoke to Anni out in the garden. But I'm far too lazy to actually have a look and see.

Anni: "Is that why you came here, cus you heard the stories? You looked surprised when I said earlier that the sligs here were sometimes nice!"
Hembar shook her head, "No, I'm afraid not. I'm not really in a position to take up this kind of job, I'm only allowed to do that if it'll help what I'm supposed to be doing. But there are many mudokons who
are in the position to work like this, so having a place like this... It's really good.
"And yes, I was a little surprised, because rumours tend to exaggerate things way out of proportion and you did say earlier about nasty sligs."
"In a way I sort of envy you guys, though... I've never had a chance to live like that. I know, mostly it's a slave's life and not terribly pleasant, but sometimes there's places that are ok, like this one seems to be now, and it's just so... carefree, I suppose. Trust me, sometimes being a native isn't all it's cracked up to be!"
She grinned, then she suddenly noticed something white on one of
Anni's hands.
"What's that?" she asked.

Ralph stopped talking to
RG suddenly, as he saw a flash of light around the corner (I'm guessing that Ark and everyone weren't in the same part of the corridor as Ralph and RG, but in theory they would still see the light around the corner).
"Excuse me," he walked off away from the robot, and as he rounded the corner he just caught sight of a strangely coloured mudokon (
Ark, but look who's talking
) running around the next corner.
He saw a black mudokon (
Dionysia, he'd seen her earlier but didn't know any more about her now than he did then) down on the floor, cursing and rubbing her eyes and also a slig (
Cylepso) coming the other way.
Quickly taking in the situation, he took off after the fleeing mudokon.
