I was not making a personal attack on Max. My point is, if he is willing to bring his personal feelings about someone that he pseudo-dated for a bit into the forums and try to get all the mods to ban him (I read your thread in Employee Lounge, Nate. Figure that one out.)
I assume you're talking about the thread started by me, in which case it was a discussion regarding whether he deserved a custom title. There was no discussion at all about banning him. It's a topic we chat about on occassion, when someone asks me for a CT and I don't personally think they're deserving; perhaps other mods have a different opinion or perhaps they post a lot in FC or RPG and I don't see it.

In that particular thread, there was unanimous agreement that he didn't deserve it. None of the moderators approved of him either as a member or on a personal level. Sure, Max had a little bitch about MF but he also stated quite clearly that his feelings should not be taken in to account. They weren't. The fact is that MF was a whiny little bitch whose only contributions to OWF were snarky one liners and the odd rant. That thread can best be summed up by the last post, in response to T-nex asking whether MF could ever recieve a CT:

In six months, if he were to become a productive member rather than someone who just pops by occassionally to wise-crack, yes.
Now, on to the real issue.

If I were in Max' position, I probably would have done the same thing. My first thought on reading your post was "Uhoh, this is going to go badly" but I still would have given it a chance to be witty or entertaining. It ended up being neither of those things so he was right to move it to Necrum.

I also have no problem with Splat giving you an infraction in response to behaviour over a number of posts. I've done the same thing myself. He even asked in EL whether it was a good idea or not and got no objections.

Frankly, we all value you as a member. However, sometimes you go through stages where you're not straddling the line between humour and trollishness but rather dancing a merry jig on the other side. In the past, a short, sharp rap on the knuckles generally gave you the hint to straighten out. Not sure why this time is any different.
