At the end of the day I infracted OANST not for this specific thread but because I have seen him spamming a lot recently, earning himself more threads on the first page of Necrum than MeechShrykull, which is not anything to boast about.
This thread was pretty much the straw that broke the camel's back however. I don't know anyone who's experienced rape but I see it as a sensitive subject and anyone joking about it risks offending/upsetting other members, which is something that we as a forum should want to avoid.
I'm not against light-hearted or joking threads in general (it's why we have threads like 'Mod Survivor Island' and 'Bits and Pieces' and so on, but I really think the Rape thing goes to far.
If anyone wishes to start a serious thread in OTD discussing rape I'd have no objection.
And SkillyaSlig, male rape does happen, somewhat less commonly than female rape. Its much harder for men to talk about it, simply because its not viewed in the same way, as you pointed out in your own post.
