Here is an article from
PlayStation World, an unofficial British PS1 and PS2 mag. I couldn't be bothered to scan in the article and upload it to my webspace, but I'm willing to do so if you won't believe me without visual proof.
X-BOX FAKES IT
HAS THE X-BOX BITTEN OFF MORE THAN IT CAN CHEW?
A supposedly big announcement by Microsoft has revealed three Sega games -
Panzer Dragoon, Jet Set Radio and
Sega GT - will be appearing on X-Box. What they fail to highlight is the fact that while all of these games suffered from seriously disappointing sales on the previous Sega machines, PS2 has already snapped up some of Sega's biggest selling classics in the shape of
Crazy Taxi, Virtua Fighter 4 and
Space Channel 5. Not such a coup after all then.
Not only are they suffering from having the least successful of Sega's games on their machine, it seems they're also not too confident about X-Box's capabilities. Recent shots to promote the console, by showing just how spectacular the games look on the machine, have been uncovered as fakes. In trying to wipe some off the egg off their faces Microsoft has now apologised for any confusion caused and re-labelled the shots as "conceptual art". Forget about the barn door, boys, that three legged old nag dressed up as a stallion is gone. [END OF ARTICLE]
