Steel Shark, I come to you with a serious offer, an offer of peace.
As you and everyone else on the forums know, there is a bit of a dispute between us and I want to stop it. I don't like being angry with anyone, for anger only leads to hate and hate leads to suffering. The dispute between us is not doing the forums any good and I think you would agree with that. We have more important things to do then to fight each other, like play games, chat with our friends, etc.
I come to you as myself; no dragons, no Spider, Malice or any other of my characters. JFYI, I am a different person in RL; I am shy, timid at times, quiet, and have a lot harder time expressing myself. You see I have always found it easier to express myself over email, chat, or message board; I guess its the writer in me *smile*.
I portray myself as a dragon named Dragadon on this board because Dragadon represents the 'online' me and is what I wish I could be in RL (not the being a dragon part...ok that’s a lie...I do wish I was a dragon *grin*); talkative, more outgoing, able to express herself easily. My other characters are all in a way each a different side of me...to be quite honest both Spider and Malice were created during times of anger and frustration in my life, as time passed and things got better for me those two mellowed out.
While I am at it I'll tell you a bit more about myself.
I am 24, work in the USAF as an Administrator and live in North Dakota (I would say which city but with how things are in world right now its best I don't). I love dragons, dinosaurs, nature, and video games. I also love to draw and write, in fact joining the forums helped me out of a drawing/writing slump; I have written 13 Oddworld based fics since I first joined in Jan/Feb; with 3 being written right now (though I have a sever case of writers block at the moment...ugh), and 3 planned (and I have notes on). That's not including my collection of shorts in 'Chronicles' (yes I know that is spelled wrong), which has 7 short stories in it. Odd knows how many pictures I have drawn (somewhere over 100).
Ok I better stop bragging...
Now to clear up a misconception.
I never did say I disliked the X-Box, I did say at one time that I don't care if it succeeded or failed, but that is not the same as not liking it. I am perfectly capable of buying both the X-Box and the GameCube if I want (just not on the same day...), in fact I plan on getting them both...and soon (in fact…as of today I have prepaid for an X-Box and as soon as that store gets one in its mine). Yes that is going against what I have been saying all this time...that I wouldn't get a new console for one game (go on...say it...say that I'm stupid for doing that). And I have the room now to do it as well...as I just moved into an apartment (which is easily 3 times the size of the dorm room I was living in before on the military base).
Also I don’t hate you, I have forgiven you for all that you have said and I apologize for anything I might have said that had insulted you.
On the Role Play bit...I do it to help express what I mean on the net (after all...all we see is text...its hard to tell what you are feeling with just text), for humor (laughter is the best medicine after all), and lastly because I enjoy it. It’s fun to pretend you are something else (as long as you don't do it in RL...or the men in white coats will come get you....).
Anyway...I am starting to ramble...so I shall end this.

Like I said...this is a peace offering. Let us end this senseless dispute between us, for it isn't doing the forums or us any good. I shall respect your views on things as I always have; I just ask that you do the same for me (I would still like to know what you have against my characters…just out of curiosity). Will you accept my offer and shake (virtually) my hand? Please consider...for it is for the best for both the forums and us.
