IC: Teo was about to call Gegnar, before he realized that the only method of possibly contacting him, was by a flare. And since he really didn't want every one knowing where he was, he needed to go into town to call him.

But, he would have to walk a long way, he he didn't want to risk anyone in the group seeing him.

"Odd dam it, should I stay here and watch, or start walking to town." he muttered under his breath. Making up his mind, he got up and started trotting down river, a fair distance from the bank.
