I think that Squeek's Oddysee was planned to be THE Oddworld game, that will answer most of the quiestions like that one with Big Face.

No. I don't really think that Big Face is important enough to get plottime in Squeek's story, what with Gorman Disenza and Lady Margaret's grandmother and the economy hitting the fan.
