When Abe was sent to rescue Munch from Vykkers Labs (first scene), why then wasn't he actually sent to enrichen Lulu so he could ride the airship up?
I'm sure there are many ways to get into Vykkers Labs which don't involve the contrived nonsense around Lulu.

Yes, but none of that is actually given in the game. And I'm criticising Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee the Xbox game, not background story (or "real" story) which a few fans and some OWI employees know.

Same with other Oddworld characters, including Sligs. They are given no explanation, no backstory, no particular personality traits. We see they are guards/soldiers and personal assistants, and we take that in our stride. Why can you not do the same with the Raisin, seeing he is a wise, respected individual? The Big Face wasn’t given any backstory at all. Why is he the Mudokons’ spiritual leader?
