OOC: It seems I have no choice, I have to post in here once in a while. Besides, giving my characters away would be a disgrace. [/sarcasm]

-------------------------------------

Otto followed Gappiqu as the Slig walked out from the Cafeteria. After a short walk to a small room which looked like a workshop - he couldn't tell if he has seen it before. Gappiqu set up the computer, worked on it a little bit, then told Otto that they were ready. He took a few steps closer to the machine on the table, uncertain of what to do. He turned to Gappiqu. "Um, what's suppose to happen now?"

He wondered if all this fitted into his position as Flak Clerk.

-------------------------------------

Rick ran into the Cafeteria and skidded to stop beside Corky, who, by the looks of it, was looking for his Slog. Rick, panting, looked around and spotted one not too far away. The Slog seemed to jump at Scri with a little too playful intent. Rick shook Corky's shoulder a bit. "Hey, if that's your Slog, you better call it back quick!" he said, worried.

-------------------------------------

Arnie, still sitting in the Cafeteria, saw Slash flying up to him. "Arnie, sir, I have succeeded in mostly repairing the main central pulley, however, the wire for the lever summons is damaged, and it would be dangerous to attempt repairing this wire unless I could temporarily shut off mains power. Do I have permission to do this? Shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes, and then the lift will be usable again. It's been in a state for a while..."

"Well, uh... Good work with the lift, but shutting of the main power..." Arnie was trying to find a good excuse to avoid that. He remembered a certain someone who did that in the very same facility not soo long ago.

Luckily, RG interrupted. "Turning off the main power would result in a complete shutdown of the factory's production system. This would mean that certain, more primitve mechanisms would need manual restoration, meaning that the staff would be rather engaged in the following few hours. Instead of that, I would advise you to look for the Power Distribution panel. It should be near the Main Switch - the one you wanted to turn off. With the help of it, you should be able to shut off only those main circuits which are connected to the lift you are repairing."

Arnie, agape for a second, turned back to Slash, rearranging his expression quickly. "See? That could work as well." he said, and cast a thankful grin towards RG.

A few moments later, Krik came up to his table and sat down, with Dionysia at his side (?). "Good afternoon Arnie; good to see you again. I thought today we could have a little talk about your employees, as I ran into an apparently metally deficient slig on my way here, and a mudokon who was definately not working." said the Vykker.

"Why do you want to talk about them? Seeing how Sligs are, I'm not exactly..." Arnie broke off for a moment, seeing that #7 Slig was not too far away from them. He leant closer to Krik and lowered his voice. "...I'm not exactly surprised that you've seen a demented one. As for Mudokons, today has just started, so I wouldn't judge them too hastily."
