History: Gidjet lived with a man who he called grandfather, and was taught how to use bows and hunt animals. When he was 16 he was kicked from the village on accusation of murdering his grandfather, which he didn't do. He found work at the mines.

Gidjet lay down on the hard, cold floor, and pulled a small Scrab cake from his pocket, which he shoved in his mouth hungrily. Food like this was very rare nowadays, as nearly all of the Rupture Farms plants were destroyed. The famished Mudokon chewed happily, savouring every bite.
