As for the story in Portal 2 I think we should be looking in the area of Prequal. I don't see portals working in an outside area for oh so many reasons. It was a very fun game but it won't work in any other format then the lab specific puzzles, at least I don't think so. Of course Valve has a rep for being very creative so we'll wait and see
