Badly Packed Goods?

It's official! Screwfix CANNOT pack. :P

Me and 'Leccy are converting a shed into a studio, so I recently ordered a bunch of hardware stuff from an Essex-based company called Screwfix, including a few electrical goods.

I got 2 parcels. Not only did they arrive 3 days late (idiotic drivers couldn't find where I lived even though it was painfully obvious), but one parcel had nothing in it.

Nothing, except for the single Earthing Rod that I ordered which was worth about £1.75, plus some bubble wrap.

I mean look at it, it's an Earthing Rod! It's a long metal spike that you ram it deep into the earth with a massive hammer - It's not fragile. Why does it need bubble wrap? And such a huge packet for such a tiny little thing?

It's a bit silly, isn't it? :P I'm glad postage and packing came free, but only because I ordered lots of stuff - I'd be a lot more pissed if I actaully paid for it too.

Anyone else received badly-packaged goods?
