  2. The Australian government systematically TOOK CHILDREN FROM THEIR PARENTS! It doesn't matter how good their intentions are, that is evil.

My ancestors weren't even in Australia when this was mainly going on but still I feel guilt about it as an Australian.

  5. Kevin was not forced by some supposed Aboriginal lobby group. He was forced by the nation of Australia, who voted for him. In any case, this is something that he has promised to do for quite some time and that the Labor Party itself promised to do from when it first became an issue ten years ago.
1. Saying: 'We apologize" counts as saying sorry.

2. Oh for the love of good; where did I say: "I think it's a great idea to take children from the families", of coarse It's horrible thing.

3. Why should the government say sorry for something the opposition did years ago. So shouldn't liberal party say sorry not the ALP.

4. The government was apologizing for the stolen generation. Nothing Else.

5.The Aborigines have been sending the government letters requesting for a 'sorry' for years now

Sure there is petrol sniffing, drug dealing and even gang attacks but very few aborigines are effected by poverty.
