yeah, but thats not the full story. he was shot from behind in a dark alley at night, Billy the Kid was unarmed at the time. if it
was an 'assassin', he must of been a bad one, as he was drunk at the time.
meaning: they were scared of Billy the Kid's gun skills, and rightly so, thats why he was murdered in extremely unfair conditions.
