I honestly don't understand why everyone finds Palooka so difficult. When I played first, I found it extremely difficult because I tried using the walkthrough way of doing it (with the boombats and fuzzles and all that), however then I realised that if you damage him enough, he comes down from his little stage and tries to kill you himself, usually at about when one fifth of his health is left. This leaves him open to enough Zappflies to stun him and get him alive. Easy as pie.
