I know this is a pretty far out example. But Epic Game cancelled any more games involving Jazz Jackrabbit..... Guess why. Their attention turned to the Unreal games, because they were more successful. So these days you don't see any more jazz jackrabbit games, even though they were really good at that time.
I'm just afraid the same will happen with CS. They will keep building on it, cos it has success and attracts alot of people and money. unless it fails.... miserably.
