Pay It Forward?
I wouldn't do anything on the basis that the worlds fucked up already without someone thinking they're smarter than everyone else trying to fix it. And every action may have unforseen consequences eg:
"Oh noes, we've made the same mistakes again. Wheres WOF when we need him now?"
Humanity needs to learn from its mistakes, not be given a free 'Do pass go, Do collect £200" card.
