Just to add to my earlier post.
Remember Digimon? Like, the original Digimon? In the first series?
There was this one villain, 'Puppetmon' and I can't remember what the full story behind him was, but something along the lines of 'him just wanting a friend' was important, because he kidnapped this one guy.
Anyway, he dies, and I cried. a lot. I fucking love robots.
My sister drew a version of it where everyone becomes his friend, I was qiute possibly the happiest little nerd on Earth.

I think I remember that, How he killed his pal Cherrymon, and then he's dying, and the ghost of Cherrymon is like "They had friends, and you didn't."
Cherrymon is a dick.

rock band, jazz band,
karate, kendo, mahjong, cyborg, synchronized swimming...
On the other hand, high school boys are
useless outside battle and sports anime.
But they're recklessly trying to make a slice-of-life anime about us.
