This is a fallacy. Most bees do not die when they sting.
Seems Carnix and I were wrong. +1 Rep to wikipedia and Hobo. Only honey bees die when they sting you.

They also form a ball around other insect intruders and kill them with body heat. Now that is a thing I would hate. It would freak me out, to stay on topic.
