George Bush drove past me today in a goddamn long convoy. What I don't get is why he needs quite so many cars; what can ten vans of police do that five can't? Especially given that the entire route was lined with hundreds of police and soldiers and snipers anyway.

Uh, did you not see the coverage for APEC in Sydney last year? Bush's convoy was just as crazy.
