its absolutley fuckin' sick, and i cannot abide it.
i once saw (before i left school) a video on the internet of a cat having its throat cut whilst it was alive with a carving knife, not before being beat around the head with the back of a wooden brush, and then left to die on the edge of a table. it made me feel physically sick, and i reported it to the IT teacher at once. i later found out it was some chinese bloke killing and draining the cat so it could be skinned for fur or something, i didnt really wanna know.
now that i work on a farm, sometimes you need to make tough decisions with cattle and calves to decide wether they live or die, for various reasons, and for the better. it never gets easier, as you dont just say, "yeah cull it", then go back inside for a cuppa, you have to be there, watch the Knackerman shoot it, then bloody pay him for a job 'well done'! it seems sick but its always for the better, when im around anyway. i never like to see a good healthy animal put down for no good reason, unless to put it out of its misery.
ive said many times to my mates in conversation and i'll say it again, im afraid the death sentence needs to be bought back. the humane Lethal injection, and only to those who have committed sick crimes such as rape, murder, child molestering, and any form of torture (mental/physical) to people or animals. there would be the issue of killing an innocent person (not the criminal) and therfore would probably only be able to issue the Death sentence if the proof is considerably accurate and correct, if not, a hefty prison sentence (the old version of the life sentence; 45 - 50 years).
im with you 100% (im sure MANY others are too) about being dead against animal cruelty and the like.
