It was a joke, stupid.
Megalodons are extinct.
|
in a way, its a shame they are extinct, as they were such huge and awesome creatures, making the Great White shark look like a minnow in its presence. one of its teeth (which was the same shape as a GW sharks) was bigger than a blokes hand, they looked like spearheads!!

And WTF exactly would you use? A net? Like, a REALLY big net that you catch whales with, but made with chains instead? Honestly, Great Whites are big enough, 7-8m or so (though, obviously, large individuals are rare due to hunting and stuff these days).

there are bigger sharks than Great White's, but not all are carnivorous; the Whale shark is the biggest shark known to man, and yet only eats plankton. the second biggest shark known to man would either be the Basking shark or the Megamouth shark, both are non-carnivorous (like Oddey, i used to be obsessed with sharks when i was at school).
---------------------
a question for everyone; what is your favourite shark and why?
mine is the Bull shark because of its unique ability to be able to withstand both salt water and fresh water, and be able to travel miles and miles and yet remember the rout it took (hence brilliant memory), even having favourite hunting spots miles away at certain times of day.
on a darker note, they are classed as the most dangerous shark to man, due to them swimming in very shallow water, even swimming up rivers, being extremely teritorial and acting docile then suddenly attacking (one was recorded to of attacked a horse in shallow water), also, they apparently apply 2 and a half tons of pressure onto it prey when it bites.
