If you had such crap grades in school (I'm guessing by school you mean 'college'), why don't you retake it? Surely you'll do better and end up getting a job you enjoy.

no, fair question. and this is gonna sound retarded too, but i love the job itself. and you live on the farm in a house in the countryside, away from the city, which may or may not appeal to some people. i may moan, but i love it really. and dairy farming is getting less and less in britain, soon we'll be getting milk and beef from France! or worse...Germany!! the reality being that if food has to be imported, your not guarenteed whats gone in it, and you can kiss goodbye to traditional british beef. so if i leave the industry, its another farm stuck for business.
