OOC: Hey Gretin whatever happened to that other char of yours?
IC: Doe inwardly giggled as Rick shied away from the southern hand shake. The Mudanchee warrior had expected as much, but watching it was none the less enjoyable. The Industrial worker stated calmly, "Hey there. Hope you don't mind, but I'm not used to these greetings. I'm Rick, by the way."
Doe nodded and grunted in acknowledgment. "Fair enough Rick. It's a pleasure ta meet ya."
The dark skinned Mudokon also greeted Doe with much enthusiasm, "Heya, Nat! You sleep well?"
Doe had a recollection of his frightening nightmares of fire, blood, and death... but he shrugged it off trying to keep up his image. Hiding behind a exceedingly friendly smile Doe said, "I sure did Precious! Though it would of been much more enjoyable had you been there with me!" Doe laughed hysterically and slapped his knee several times as if he had just told the best joke under the sun.
#9 was bashing himself continually in his own mind. Calling himself worthless and the cause of everyone's suffering. Until he noticed a odd-looking crawling Slig looking strait at him... where had he seen this Slig before? Then he remembered the vision and what #10 had told him. All #9's emotions of depression disappeared and were replaced by hope and happiness. Unable to control himself he said to the crawling Slig, "Agent! Is that you!? I've been looking all over for you! I found your gun and blood! I thought you were dead!"
Chris woke up slowly. The whole room was so blurry. He couldn't see anything. He blinked heavily trying to clear his vision. The first thing he saw was a empty bed where his patient should of been. Drat! She shouldn't be running around until after being checked on. Chris let out a long sigh and walked out of the lab. He needed to find his patient and make sure she was okay.
