The Xbox is $299 US. According to XboxAddict.com, it costs 450 Canadian, 200 funky little E symbols (is that pounds?), 350 Euro, 577 Australian, and 35,566 Yen. I'm pretty sure this is assuming that an Xbox is exactly the same price in US dollars all over the world. This also might change in a month or two.
