Wic jumped a little when Tiro suddenly bolted off. He chased after him without another thought. Once Tiro was around the corner Wic noticed he was starting to cry. He would have made a comforting remark but keeping up with the distressed mud had him rather puffed.
Once they were on the ground floor, Tiro stopped and burst into tears. Wic hated seeing his new friend so sad like this, and he could feel sympathetic tears well up in his own eyes.
Wic cried out audibly when a green object suddenly bounded out of nowhere and dissappeared again, which Tiro suddenly chased after.
"Help me catch her! She's the she-sliggy Dimitrio was talking about!" Tiro called out to Wic.
Eyes wide, he sprinted after the crawling Slig, who seemed to be moving rather quickly for someone who had to use their hands. He heard a bang up ahead; It sounded like the Slig had crashed into something. Running as fast as his little feet could go, he burst through the Cafeteria doors, tripping and falling flat on his face in the process. Eyes watering from the pain, he got up again, chest heaving, to face the crawling Slig and another, yellow-skinned one. He had never seen a Slig with yellow skin before. Maybe this one was special? He only stared at the yellow-skinned Slig as he had not yet caught his breath.
