I reached mine by constant pensiveness, questioning my beliefs and disecting them to some degree, but more importantly using logic and reasoning. Reason why I didn't bring up my actual beliefs is because they are precisely that, my own. I really think religion and spirituality should be exclusive to the individual. Otherwise, organized religions become extremely zealous and polarized and seemingly cultesque. Not to mention the conflicts that arise from differences in opinion and others not being able to coexist and respect one another. Furthermore, the lasting implications when matters of state become clogged with religious zealots trying to influence policy-politics of a government.
