Beetlroot gained consciousness at an alarming and pretty near impossible rate, with death so damn close all of his senses grew intensely strong. Within split-seconds of opening his eyes Beelroot was aware of his position and split-seconds after that he spun and bit the slig that was carrying him on the arm in an attempt to disarm him but, as you would expect, the sudden movement caused him to topple to the floor and within moments it came to the paramite's attention that... he was dead.

I'll miss Beetlroot, he was fun... but far too many people wanted to kill him. I think maybe I might try sticking to species that are less of a threat... perhaps.
