I think they are in the Abe's Oddysee's section near the Abe's images. So it's possible they were metioned there near other rock arts, like Scrabs, Paramites, Elum, Paramonia, Scrabania and rock arts.

I don't think they had to be in AO. The history of the Abe's chapter that holds AO and AE follows a chronological order: the power of ancient spirits has been given to Abe when he freed them in AE. And power of Shrykull has been given to Abe when he past Scrabania and Paramonia in AO.
